Careful planning in the layout stage can result in saving both time and materials during installation.
Doors, windows, pilasters or other interior components such as radiators, ventilator grills, etc. which interrupt the wall will require that you prepare a detailed layout prior to installation. With new construction, plan to locate these components where they will minimize complex fitting of DESIGNER DRYWALL™ sheets. Installation in renovation work may require careful fitting of filler pieces around immovable obstructions.
With new construction, locate electrical boxes, switches and other outlets such as phone, tv, etc. to fall within the flat surfaces of the sheet. With renovation work reposition outlets to your sheet layouts.
Wainscot sheets are easily installed side by side on uninterrupted walls. Refer to Diagram #6 below.
Upper wall sheets, when installed above Wainscot sheets, should be carefully positioned to match alignment of the panels. Follow the same layout procedure as above.
Walls measuring other than multiples of 4' will require additional cuts of one or two panels from a sheet. Should these not fit, use filler pieces. Refer to diagram #7 below.
Variations in arrangements of the sheets are possible. These combinations can be used with varying ceiling heights. Refer to diagram #8 below.
